Great chance here for the Russian player to finally make something out of his louzy and poor display lately. He will play against Gilles Simon of France who seems to have gone to holiday pretty early this year. It will be an interesting match because these two have been playing particularly poor lately and Simon has semi final points to defend here. They have met here last year when Simon was the winner in close and tight three sets but Davydenko isn't without a chance in this one. Russian will certainly give his best in order to prevail and get the best out of the situation and I am certain it will be a tough match but Russian will have his opportunities to take this one for sure. Both of them are better returning opponents serves rather then serving themselves and I am expecting a lot of breaks to be delivered here. Hopefully Russian will be the one who makes more and prevails in the end. Simon has been losing to some low ranked players lately and lets hope the run continues.
