Have to take this. Several reasons which I'll name but the main one being next weeks tourney.
Murray is defending the title next week in Shanghai. Since Roger Federer decided to skip the Asian swing, Murray has a chance to be no 3. in the world for the first time ever if he does well in Shanghai. The number of points he's defending next week is 1000, and the number of points he's defending this week in Tokyo is 90, which he has already defended reaching the QF so he really has nothing to gain ( except a few more points ) but has a lot to lose possibly if he is fatigued in Shanghai. He won Bangkok last week, had to fly to Tokyo and is now playing on a completely different surface than in Bangkok ( much slower here ) and then he has to travel to Shanghai and prepare himself for a much tougher lineup and a new surface change.
Even if all this wasn't the case, then there is Nalbandian. The guy who can really beat anyone in the world when he wants to and a guy vs who Roger and Rafa both have negative h2h. Murray leads him 3:2. Definitely value @ 4,33.
