This is a game between two of the biggest disillusions in the A-League this season. Newcastle Jets started having problems in the pre season, and despite they made some good signings, they never reached the expected level and they are showing poor quality. Like this, they are still bad placed in the table, being in the eighth position with the same number of points of the seventh placed, exactly Perth Glory.
The history of the Perth Glory season is very similar. Many expectations for this season, big names signed, many ambitions, and at the moment the result is...nothing. The squad was carefully prepared and planned but they only got one win in the last six games.
My preview is to be an interesting game to see which is the worth team. Perth Glory is a very poor away team and this gives an evident advantage to Newcastle Jets. Also the absence list of Perth Glory to this game, with Chris Coyne out for three months, Shane Smeltz, Scott Neville, Andrezinho and Neil Young are all out too. Not to talk about Victor Sikora, who is with a long-term injury, and Josh Mitchell, suspended, makes me decide for a home win in this game.
