It is hard to bet on one of two teams that you like. This is such a game, where I want to increase the pleasure of watching with a bet. There are many reasons to believe that the Bruins will win in the end. They are in a historical series, 13-0-1 of 14, the longest series after 1983, when they had 15-0-2. Also, they are complete, not counting center Marc Savard, who will miss the entire season. The most important player is Tim Thomas, of course, with a 1.77 GAA and three SO a nine-game winning streak. Also, backup goalie Tuukka Rask is in good form, he made 22 saves Saturday night in the Bruins' win 4-1 against the Maple Leafs, and with allowed only nine goals in his last five appearances. Milan Lucic, David Krejci and Nathan Horton make the first line, Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron and Tyler Seguin the second, etc. What to say when the fourth line consists of Daniel Paille, Gregory Campbell and Shawn Thornton, except that it is very powerful team. To be honest, Pittsburgh is in all elements at least as powerful as the Bruins, and probably more powerful, but this team has problems with injuries of important players - Jordan Staal, Kris Letang, Zbynek Michalek, Dustin Jeffrey and Ben Lovejoy. And as my friend, here known as Saint10, said, Malkin and Crosby are the only ones skating tonight for the Penguins. However, I do not want to be on either side tonight. I will take goals in the third period. I could try with exactly one goal in the first period, but this time I will take over 1.5 goals in the third period. The B's have not been successful in the first period in this season and, as for goals in this period, they had low score in 14 of 24 games, while the Penguins had the same outcome in 18 of 27 games. But, each of those teams had 18 high score third periods in previous games. From whom we expect goals here? From the B's. So, it's more probable that it'll happen in the second or third than the first period. I have chosen the third one. Given all these circumstances, I chose this bet as very probable, and I think that in this period will be exactly 3 goals (1-2).
