COMMENT
San Antonio (1-4) is facing some serious problems and their start into this season reflects their current state. Injuries really hampered their roster and after losing Manu Ginobili due to a long-term ankle injury they lost another superstar - Tony Parker. He has been great so far, averaging 27,4 points, 3 rebounds and 5,8 assists per game and his loss will definitely hurt them. Timmy D will have to step up and play his heart out until at least one of these two returns.
New York (4-2) has a new coach and it looks like they needed just that. They're still not a championsip contender, but they're showing some improvements - at least on offensive end. They are on a 3-game winning streak and it looks like they could go for the 4th win. As I already said, with coach D'Antoni's offensively orientation they are one of those teams that you have to play carefuly against. In this situation I just can't see how these "old" Spurs could cope with fast-paced Knicks.
If the Spurs have any intention of winning this one they'll definitely have to tighten their D and play slow, halfcourt basketball. If they for any reason decide to go wild and start runnin' with the Knicks they don't have much chance of winning this match. Imo.
